Porfirio Cervantes

Porfirio Cervantes is a dedicated and passionate tennis coach committed to helping others improve their game. Growing up in Sylmar, California, Cervantes developed a love for sports at a young age, with tennis emerging as his primary passion. His dedication to the sport led him to UC Davis, where he played for the campus traveling club team and pursued a degree in Computer Engineering.

During his time at UC Davis, Cervantes began to develop his unique experimental coaching philosophy, which he continues to refine and implement today. After graduating, he achieved professional certification as an Elite coach by the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) in several categories, including Adults, High Performance, and 10 and Under.

In 2023, Cervantes was honored as Coach of the Year for the San Fernando Valley by the United States Tennis Association (USTA), a testament to his outstanding contributions to the sport and his exceptional coaching skills.

Cervantes combines his passion for tennis with his coaching expertise to inspire and mentor young players. He is committed to sharing his knowledge and experience to help the next generation of tennis players achieve their dreams and reach their full potential.

Aaron Goodwein

Aaron Goodwein grew up in the San Fernando Valley where competitive tennis played a major role in his personal development from the youthful age of eight. The former first-team All-City doubles player continued to play throughout his college career, concluding with a third-place finish for him and his Arizona State University club team at the year-end national tournament. He graduated with a BS in Applied Biological Sciences from ASU and is committed to applying all aspects of his knowledge to his tennis training through nutrition, fitness, and recovery. Aaron is extremely passionate about the sport and is motivated to bring tennis in the valley to another level.

He is a USPTA certified Professional who is always looking to learn and grow as a coach. PAC's foundations in hard work, dedication, and a strong community, is what solidified his decision in joining the organization. He looks to develop elite tennis players both on and off the court and hopes that tennis can impact his students in the same positive manner it affected him.

Cameron Hines

Cameron Hines started playing tennis at the age of seven after finding tennis rackets in a trash bin. After hitting a few balls for the first time, Cameron immediately knew tennis was something he wanted to be involved with for the rest of his life. It was then that he learned the most rewarding things in life can sometimes come from the most unlikely of places. Cameron immediately jumped into tennis classes and grew and developed his skills and knowledge of tennis in the state of Delaware.

His skill level and knowledge of tennis grew so quickly that by the age of 17 he already had a position working as a Head Coach and site director for the USTA. Now with close to 20 years of coaching experience and youth and USTPA pro certifications to his list of achievements, Cameron continues to try to introduce tennis to those who might have never had the opportunities or resources to succeed in tennis. He also aims to show each and every player the champion that lives inside them.

This year, Cameron's dedication and excellence in coaching were recognized when he was awarded the USPTA District 2 Teaching Professional of the Year, a testament to his outstanding contributions to the sport and his unwavering commitment to his players' success.
